H\u00e9lder Beja, jornalista cultural, editor e argumentista, co-fundou e dirigiu o Festival Liter\u00e1rio de Macau durante sete edi\u00e7\u00f5es (2012-2018) e \u00e9 desde 2019 um dos organizadores da confer\u00eancia bienal da Asia Pacific Writers &amp; Translators. Licenciado em Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o Social e com uma p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Antropologia \u2014 Culturas Visuais, H\u00e9lder Beja tem trabalhado essencialmente sobre a \u00c1sia e a China, continente e pa\u00eds onde viveu durante quase uma d\u00e9cada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boris Nelepo, programador e cr\u00edtico que forma parte da equipa do Doclisboa, assume agora a co-chefia de programa\u00e7\u00e3o, que partilhar\u00e1&nbsp;com um novo elemento do comit\u00e9 de programa\u00e7\u00e3o que se juntar\u00e1 \u00e0 equipa em Abril. Boris Nelepo trabalhou como consultor para o Festival Internacional de Cinema de Locarno (2012-2018). Para o Doclisboa, foi o curador de&nbsp;v\u00e1rias retrospectivas desde 2015 (entre elas as de \u017delimir \u017dilnik em 2015 e de V\u011bra Chytilov\u00e1 em 2017). Tem artigos publicados em v\u00e1rias revistas internacionais como a&nbsp;Trafic, a&nbsp;Cinema Scope&nbsp;e os&nbsp;Cahiers du Cin\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u00edntia Gil assume fun\u00e7\u00f5es em Maio e ser\u00e1 a programadora associada de mais esta edi\u00e7\u00e3o do festival. Dirigiu o Doclisboa entre 2012 e 2019 e o Sheffield DocFest (Reino Unido) entre 2020 e 2021. Criou ainda o programa&nbsp;Artistic Differences, com Jenny Miller e Christopher Allen, do UnionDocs (EUA), integra a equipa do M\u00e1ster em Document\u00e1rio de Cria\u00e7\u00e3o da Universidade Pompeu Fabra em Barcelona como tutora de projectos, e a equipa de programa\u00e7\u00e3o da Quinzena dos Cineastas de Cannes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom\u00e1s Baltazar e&nbsp;Luca D\u2019Introno continuam a fazer parte do&nbsp;comit\u00e9 de selec\u00e7\u00e3o e programa\u00e7\u00e3o, com&nbsp;Marta Vaz e Nuno Ventura Barbosa a juntarem-se tamb\u00e9m \u00e0 equipa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A direc\u00e7\u00e3o de produ\u00e7\u00e3o do Doclisboa est\u00e1 agora a cargo de Maria Jo\u00e3o Malheiro e a direc\u00e7\u00e3o da ind\u00fastria e desenvolvimento&nbsp; \u00e9 liderada por Marina Thom\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O festival estar\u00e1 de volta \u00e0s salas habituais entre 16 e 26 de Outubro. At\u00e9 31 de Maio&nbsp;est\u00e3o&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vp.eventival.com\/doclisboa\/2025\">abertas as inscri\u00e7\u00f5es<\/a>&nbsp;de filmes para a 23\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em Outubro, o mundo inteiro cabe em Lisboa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>***<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The board of Apordoc has appointed H\u00e9lder Beja as the new Director of Doclisboa \u2013 International Film Festival, as part of a renewed structure that now includes Boris Nelepo as Co-Head of Programming, with C\u00edntia Gil continuing in the role of Associate Programmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Director takes up his position following two years of collaboration with the festival. H\u00e9lder Beja is an arts journalist, editor, and screenwriter who co-founded and directed the Macau Literary Festival for seven editions (2012\u20132018), and has been one of the organisers of the biennial Asia Pacific Writers &amp; Translators conference since 2019. Holding a degree in Communications and a postgrad&nbsp;in Anthropology \u2013 Visual Cultures, H\u00e9lder Beja has primarily worked on topics related to Asia and China, a continent and country where he lived for nearly a decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boris Nelepo, a programmer and critic who has been part of the Doclisboa team, now takes&nbsp;the role of Co-Head of Programming together with a new member of the programming committee who will be joining the team in April. Previously, Nelepo worked as a consultant for the Locarno International Film Festival (2012\u20132018). For Doclisboa, he has curated several retrospectives since 2015, including those dedicated to \u017delimir \u017dilnik (2015) and V\u011bra Chytilov\u00e1 (2017). His work has been published in renowned international film journals such as&nbsp;Trafic,&nbsp;Cinema Scope, and&nbsp;Cahiers du Cin\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u00edntia Gil will join the team in May and will be the Associate Programmer for this year\u2019s edition of the festival. She previously directed Doclisboa from 2012 to 2019 and Sheffield DocFest (UK) between 2020 and 2021. She also co-created the Artistic Differences&nbsp;programme alongside Jenny Miller and Christopher Allen from UnionDocs (USA).
