A Apordoc tem o prazer de anunciar Marcia Mansur<\/strong> como a nova directora do\u00a0Doc\u2019s\u00a0Kingdom<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Semin\u00e1rio Internacional de Cinema Documental. Produtora, doutorada em Antropologia pela Universidade de Campinas, Marcia Mansur desenvolveu trabalho em diversas institui\u00e7\u00f5es como UnionDocs e British Council, al\u00e9m de ser s\u00f3cia-fundadora do Est\u00fadio Crua. Ao longo de duas d\u00e9cadas, construiu uma relevante experi\u00eancia nas \u00e1reas da produ\u00e7\u00e3o documental e de artes media, no envolvimento e trabalho junto de diferentes p\u00fablicos e comunidades no Brasil, Estados Unidos e Portugal, bem como enquanto investigadora em diferentes contextos. Entre outras associa\u00e7\u00f5es, Marcia Mansur \u00e9 s\u00f3cia da Apordoc e da MUTIM \u2013 Mulheres Trabalhadoras da Imagem em Movimento. Acreditamos que esta direc\u00e7\u00e3o trar\u00e1 ao\u00a0Doc\u2019s\u00a0Kingdom\u00a0um f\u00f4lego renovado, encontrando nela as qualidades profissionais e humanas que garantir\u00e3o a continuidade do Semin\u00e1rio enquanto um momento fundamental para a comunidade de cineastas, artistas e p\u00fablico portugueses e internacionais. ***<\/p>\n\n\n\n Apordoc is pleased to announce Marcia Mansur<\/strong> as the new director of Doc’s Kingdom<\/strong> – International Documentary Film Seminar. A producer with a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Campinas, Marcia Mansur has worked in several institutions such as UnionDocs and the British Council, and is a founding partner of Est\u00fadio Crua. Over two decades, she has built a relevant experience in the areas of documentary and media arts production, engaging and working with different audiences and communities in Brazil, United States and Portugal, as well as a researcher in different contexts. Amongst other associations, Marcia Mansur is a member of Apordoc and MUTIM – Women Workers of the Moving Image. We believe that this direction will bring a renewed breath to Doc’s Kingdom, finding in her the professional and human qualities that will guarantee the continuity of the Seminar as a fundamental moment for the community of Portuguese and international filmmakers, artists, and audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is also with great joy that Apordoc announces that this year\u2019s Doc’s Kingdom Seminar will take place from November 30 to December 5<\/strong> in the municipality of Odemira. After long and fruitful cycles in Serpa and Arcos de Valdevez, with an edition also in the Azores, we embrace this new home for Doc’s Kingdom as an opportunity to continue inventing ways of connecting the experience of cinema and the experience of the community in which the Seminar is held.
