In October, the whole world fits in Lisbon
Doclisboa is the only film festival in Portugal that is exclusively dedicated to documentary films. In 2006, during the fourth edition of the festival, Doclisboa took advantage of a renewed interest in documentary films on the part of Portuguese audiences and managed to attract numerous and enthusiastic viewers to the halls of Culturgest. Documentaries were “the talk of the town” and a new awareness was created about the genre’s enormous richness, diversity and potential. Doclisboa also aims to break new ground and focus on the vast diversity and vitality of this cinema of reality.

.
The Documentary Cinema Magazine

The magazine is published twice a year (in June and October) in a bilingual edition in Portuguese and English. docs.pt was created in order to serve as a vehicle for the promotion and diffusion of Portuguese cinematographic culture, its authors, works and realities.

Exhibition of Portuguese Documentaries
The Exhibition of Portuguese Documentaries seeks to be a privileged space that showcases documentary films made in Portugal or made by Portuguese filmmakers and will facilitate encounters and a sharing of experiences. It aims to broaden and strengthen the community of Portuguese documentaries and to be a link between films, filmmakers and the public, seeking to foment closer ties between filmmakers, their films and viewers. It will therefore be a non-competitive event that, each year, will reflect the diversity of films that are being made.PANORAMA seeks to be a meeting point for films and people, enabling an exchange of experiences and impressions that will contribute towards a broader vision of Portuguese documentaries.
